Coffee: El Salvador Chelazos
Coffee notes: North Star have traditionally worked with coffees from the Santa Ana region in the West of El Salvador. Following a trip to origin in February 2017, the team stumbled across a couple of amazing producers in the northern region of Chalatenango which borders Honduras. 
Tasting notes: Milk chocolate, plum, marzipan

Coffee: Monsoon Malaba
Coffee notes: This classic Indian coffee gets its name from the process it undergoes. Cultivated on the Malabar coast of Karnataka, the green beans are exposed to the monsoon air where they lose a lot of their acidity and swell in size.
Tasting notes: Spice, chocolate truffle, soft-fruit finish

Coffee notes: Heartland’s house blend is a product of almost 20 years of craft. A coffee that everyone can enjoy (whatever their level of expertise), expect a smooth mouthfeel and sweet end notes.

Coffee: Ethiopia Halaka Hambella
Coffee notes: Halaka is an area in Guji where Buno General Trading has a small washing station.The washing station sits at 1990masl but most of the coffee comes from producers above this. Producers in this area tend to have a lot more land than in other parts of Guji, making it more sustainable and profitable for the producers.
Tasting notes: Lime, guava, blueberry

Coffee: Veracruz
Coffee notes: Veracruz is one of Extract’s all time favourite farms. Part of the larger Santa Barbara Estates, this small rural farm is producing some of the most stunning Colombian coffee the team have tasted. Delicate floral honey, baked plum and crisp red apple make for a balanced, sweet and delicious cup of coffee.

Espresso

Coffee: Migongo
Coffee notes: This coffee comes from a centralised mill which is common in Rwanda due to most farmers only having small plots of land. The migongo beans showcase vibrant acidity, typical of East Africa, but also a unique complexity and depth of sweetness. Dark treacle and cocoa nib contribute to the rich fruit notes and a pink grapefruit acidity provides balance and a sparkling note to the espresso.
