It’s all blue skies at Bell Lane thanks to a booming year which included exhibition success, vibrant new packaging and an inspiring first trip to origin.
To coincide with the launch of their first single origin collection, co-founder Stephen travelled to Honduras with green coffee buyer Niko to kickstart the roastery’s direct trade program. Their first success was a partnership with Amprocal, a female-only co-operative which is part of the International Women’s Coffee Alliance.
‘EXHIBITION SUCCESS, VIBRANT NEW PACKAGING AND AN INSPIRING FIRST TRIP TO ORIGIN’
In addition to featuring lots from Honduras, the collection of sensational single origins also showcases farms in Ethiopia and Kenya, and can be explored via Bell Lane’s subscription service and online shop.
Research and development have also been high on the agenda this year and a new Mill City 500g sample roaster (the first of its kind in Ireland) has allowed the team to create accurate profiles when experimenting with expensive coffees.
Bell Lanes’ team of SCA accredited ASTs continue to share their expertise with budding brewers via training classes and certified barista courses.
